Jingle 5k & 1k Fun Run - Carroll Valley
This event, presented by Carroll Valley Parks and Recreation, takes place at Ranch Trail Commons, 12 Ranch Trl., Fairfield, PA on December 5, 2026. It includes a certified 5k road race and an untimed 1k fun run for all ages.
The course for the 5k uses flatter, lower-traffic roads in the Ranch Section and is an open road course. The 1k is an out-and-back route on the Friends Creek Trail. Leashed dogs and strollers are permitted when participants start near the back and pass others with care.
Amenities include one water station on the 5k course, a food truck, a coffee truck, and a possible alcohol vendor for purchases. The event is held rain or shine. Shirt availability is limited; early 5k entry includes a cotton short sleeve shirt while supplies last. Race day registration may accept cash or check but cannot guarantee shirts will remain.
Awards for the 5k include overall male and female winners plus age-group awards and top-three male and female placements in the listed age divisions. There are no prizes for the 1k. Additional recognition is given for best costume. Timing and finish-line services are provided by Pretzel City Sports, and results are posted by that timing service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
