The event is a 3.17 mile race held at the Statesville Soccer Complex in Statesville, North Carolina (2012 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625) on March 17, 2026. Awards are presented nightly for overall, masters, and five-year age group places.
This race is part of the 2026 Championship Series, a set of 15 races held across the year. To be eligible for the Series Championship a competitor must participate in at least 10 of the 15 races. Competitors receive one additional point for each race completed beyond 10. Completing all 15 races awards five bonus points and a free race entry for 2027. The series race dates include 1/27/2026, 2/21/2026, 2/24/2026, 3/17/2026, 4/4/2026, 4/7/2026, 4/21/2026, 5/5/2026, 6/2/2026, 7/21/2026, 8/4/2026, 8/18/2026, 9/1/2026, 10/6/2026 and 10/27/2026.
Points for the series are allocated by finishing category. Overall placements earn 12, 10 and 9 points for first through third. Masters placements earn 8, 7 and 6 points. Age group podiums earn 5, 4 and 3 points. All other participants receive 2 points. Prize money for the top five male and female Championship winners is listed as $60, $50, $40, $30 and $20 for first through fifth. No dogs are allowed at the event.
