Race Features
The event is described as being for all ages. Registration for children 5 and under is free, and children aged 6-12 receive a discount. All participants receive a timed race bib and a commemorative t-shirt.
A key feature is that this race is the only opportunity to qualify for a seeded corral in the 2026 Crescent City Classic 10K (CCC10K) at a 2-mile distance.
Awards
The first-place male and female finishers each receive a free registration for the 2026 CCC10K and a top finisher award. The second and third-place male and female finishers also receive a top finisher award. Awards are also given for the first-place youth (age 16 and under) male and female finishers.
Post-Race Activities
A post-race party is held at BarCar on Metairie Road. The party includes Michelob Ultra beer and food from Blue Runner Foods, among other options. Participants also have access to drink specials at local Metairie Road bars throughout the day.
