Event overview
The 18th Annual St. Patrick's Day race takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Denton, Maryland (107 South 4th Street, 21629). The event includes multiple distances and a youth race. It is organized to raise funds so families can afford youth summer camps and programs and to provide scholarships for Caroline County youth. The event is sponsored and hosted by Caroline County Recreation and Parks.

Course, facilities and awards
The 5 km course is a 3.11-mile out-and-back route described as fast and flat through the streets of historic Denton. There is one water stop just past the 1-mile marker near Denton Elementary School, plus water at the start and finish area. Timing is chip-based using the Chronotrack system managed by Seashore Strider Event Production. Awards include custom overall male and female, Masters, and top three in 5-year age groups from ages 6-8 up to 70 and over. T-shirts are provided to participants.
