Event details
The 27th Milford Cross Country Booster Reindeer Stampede is a road race held at Killens Pond State Park in Felton, DE on November 29, 2025. The event includes the following distances:
- 5k Run Walk
- Competitive Walking 5K - participants must walk the entire race; no running or jogging allowed
The course and event are organized with chip timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system. Results will be posted online during and after the race. Photos will be posted on the organizer's Races2Run Facebook page following the event.
Registration and race logistics
Pre-registration is available through November 29, with a listed pre-registration fee of $23.39 for entries made March 1 through November 29; a day-of registration fee is $25. Pre-registration specifically closes November 27 at noon. Parking is available at Killens Pond State Park, and normal state park entry fees apply.
Amenities include long sleeve tee shirts and a post-race party with apples, donuts, water, and similar items. No dogs are allowed due to insurance liability. Bibs are non-transferable and registrations are non-refundable. Awards include overall and masters top finisher awards, five-year age-group awards from 13 & under through 70 & over, and awards for overall walkers; overall and masters are scored by gun time, other age groups by chip (net) time.
