28th Milford Cross Country Booster Reindeer Stampede 5k
The event is the 28th edition of a community 5k held at Killens Pond State Park in Felton, Delaware in late November 2026. The program includes a standard 5k run/walk and a separate competitive walking 5k category. The competitive walking entry requires participants to walk the entire course; running or jogging is not permitted in that category and participants who plan to run or mix running and walking must register in the 5k run/walk division.
Registration details note a pre registration deadline on November 27 with a day of race registration fee. Day of registration is available on November 28; a separate fee is listed for that option. Parking is described as plentiful while normal state park entry fees apply.
Timing is by chip using the MYLAPS BibTag system and R2R Timing. Top overall and masters awards are scored by gun time while all other age group awards use chip net time. Awards include overall male and female, masters male and female, age group prizes from 13 and under through 70 and over, and recognition for top walkers. Masters awards include custom wooden reindeer for top masters finishers.
Event amenities include long sleeve tee shirts and a post race food offering that lists apples, donuts, and water. Policies note no dogs due to insurance liability, bibs are non transferable, and there are no refunds. Results and photos are posted online following the event.
