Run the Vineyards - Harvest Ridge Winery 5K
This event is the 8th annual 5K held at Harvest Ridge Winery in Marydel, Delaware on June 20, 2026. The course is described as a flat route that passes two vineyards, a wooded trail, a crownstone marker of the Mason-Dixon line, and some country roads. The event supports Operation Warmheart.
The race is professionally chip-timed with instant results. Registered participants receive a custom tech tee in women's, men's/unisex, or youth sizes; optional tank upgrades and alternate shirt options are available. Finishers age 21 and over receive a complimentary glass of wine and a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass. Souvenir finisher medals are available for purchase during registration or on race day while supplies last.
On-course support includes water stations, course volunteers, and finish-line waters and bananas. Walkers must be registered and start behind runners; a one hour time limit is kindly requested. Post-race features include awards for top three overall male and female finishers and age group winners, live music until noon, a food truck, lawn games, and both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the vineyards. Race operations note that the event is held rain or shine with no refunds or deferrals. Packet pick-up is scheduled on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent behind the winery.
