Run the Vineyards - Harvest Ridge Winery 5K
Run the Vineyards is the 9th annual 5K held at Harvest Ridge Winery in Marydel, Delaware. The event takes place on the winery property and on nearby country roads, and it features two vineyards, a wooded trail, and a crownstone marker of the historical Mason-Dixon line. The setting includes outdoor patio and lawn areas for a post-race gathering.
The 5K is professionally chip-timed with instant results. Runners and walkers of all ages may participate; walkers and children must be registered to be on course for safety. A one hour time limit is kindly requested. The event supports Operation Warmheart.
Included and available items are a custom tech tee in multiple sizes, a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass, and a complimentary glass of wine for finishers over 21. Souvenir finisher medals are offered for an additional fee. Water stations, course volunteers, finish line water and bananas are provided.
Post-race features include awards for top three male and female overall finishers and age group awards, live music until noon, an on-site food truck, lawn games, and race and after-party photos available for free download.
