Run the Vineyards - Harvest Ridge Winery 5K
The Run the Vineyards 8th Annual 5K takes place at Harvest Ridge Winery, a family farm winery in the Delaware countryside near Marydel, DE 19964. The course is described as flat and runs across private property that includes two vineyards, a wooded trail, a crownstone marker of the historical Mason Dixon line, and some country roads.
The event is professionally chip timed with instant results. Registration includes a custom tech tee in women's, men's/unisex, and youth sizes; a women's racerback tank is available for an extra fee while a men's tank is offered at no added charge. Participants who register by June 7 are guaranteed first choice for apparel; extras may be available while supplies last. A Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass is included and finishers over 21 receive a complimentary glass of wine. Souvenir finisher medals are offered for a fee during registration or on race day while supplies last.
Oncourse support includes water stations, course volunteers, and finish line water and bananas. The post race party features awards for top overall and age group finishers, live music until noon, a food truck, lawn games, indoor and outdoor seating, and photography with free downloadable photos. The race is held rain or shine and has no refunds or deferrals. Packet pick up is available on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent behind the winery.
