The 26th Annual St. Patrick School Runnin' with the Irish 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Chesterton, Indiana. The event benefits St. Patrick School and takes place at Indiana Dunes State Park.
Activities
The event offers three main activities:

- A 1/2 Mile Kid's Fun Run where all participants receive a finisher prize.

Course and Location
The 5K course uses paved roads through the scenic Indiana Dunes State Park. Standard park admission is waived for event participants.
Participant Information
A student discount is available. For the 2026 event, all 5K finishers will receive a finisher medal. Race shirts are not guaranteed for registrations received after February 23. Early packet pickup is available on Thursday, March 12, in Valparaiso and Friday, March 13, in Chesterton. Race day packet pickup begins at 7:00 AM at the Indiana Dunes State Park City West Shelter; online registration closes at 8:55 AM on race day.
