Event overview
The 26th Annual St. Patrick School Runnin' with the Irish is a road event on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Indiana Dunes State Park, 1600 N CR-25, Chesterton, IN 46304. The event benefits St. Patrick School in Chesterton. Park admission is waived for participants and a student discount is available. Race shirts are not guaranteed for registrations received after February 23.

Logistics and packet pickup
Packet pickup is available before race day and on race day at the Indiana Dunes State Park City West Shelter. Early packet pickup locations include Extra Mile Fitness Co., 3400 Calumet Ave., Valparaiso, and Val's Pizza, 112 S 11th St, Chesterton.
Awards and post-race
5K awards include overall male and female, overall masters (40+) male and female, age-group awards for children and adults, and Clydesdale (210+ lbs) and Athena (170+ lbs) divisions. Kids fun run participants receive a finisher prize. Age groups for running awards range from 0-8 through 80+, with placement levels specified for each group. Awards will be available on-site after the race and for 14 days at Extra Mile Fitness Co., 3400 N. Calumet Ave., Valparaiso.
