Event overview
The 26th Annual St. Patrick School Runnin' with the Irish takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Chesterton, Indiana at Indiana Dunes State Park (1600 N CR-25, Chesterton, IN 46304). The event benefits St. Patrick School and uses paved roads that wind through the state park. Park admission is waived for participants. A student discount is available. Race shirts are not guaranteed for registrations received after February 23, 2026.

Logistics and awards
Early packet pickup is offered on dates before the race at Extra Mile Fitness Co. in Valparaiso and at Val's Pizza in Chesterton; race day packet pickup is available at the park. Awards for the 5K include overall male and female winners, overall Masters (40+) male and female, age-group awards for adults and kids, and Clydesdale (210+ lbs) and Athena (170+ lbs) categories. Kids fun-run participants receive a finisher prize. Age-group awards list male and female top finishers across standard age brackets from 0-8 through 80+.
