Rockin Around the Bluegrass : Rockin’ Around Christmas 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
Rockin’ Around Christmas is a community running event held in downtown Danville, Kentucky on December 12, 2026. The course area is centered near the Boyle County Courthouse, with a post-race celebration at Constitution Square.
The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile fun run/walk
Registration opens September 23, 2026 and closes October 31, 2026. The registration fee is $27.50. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome.
All participants receive event swag: a fleece blanket, a Santa hat, and a commemorative Christmas ornament finisher medal. After the run there will be coffee, cotton candy, and popcorn as part of the on-site celebration at Constitution Square.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to age group winners, with results based on net chip time. Winners must be present to receive awards. Age groups are 0–9, 10–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Danville Bike and Footwear on W. Main Street and on the morning of the event in downtown Danville near the Boyle County Courthouse. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
