St. Mary's 16th Annual Run Run Rudolph 5K and Fun Run
St. Mary's presents a holiday-themed running event in Sherman, Texas at 713 S Travis St. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run for children and families. Both courses start and finish in the parking lot of St. Mary’s Catholic School and use city streets. The 5K course includes a water station.
The event features festive costumes and complimentary hot chocolate and hot apple cider for participants before the races. All children who take part in the 1 Mile Fun Run receive a jingle bell necklace award. The 5K is timed by Chip-2-Chip Race Timing; the timing chip is attached to the bib and must be worn visibly on the torso to be timed and eligible for awards. Results are posted at the race and published online by the race timer.
There are registration options for the 5K, the 1 Mile Fun Run, and a sleep-in option. Reindeer Packages are available for purchase and are provided complimentary with certain sponsorship levels. Packet pickup and bib distribution are organized before race day at St. Mary’s Catholic School outside the McCullough Center.
