This community running event takes place in Williamston on October 3, 2026, at St. Mary School, 220 N Cedar Street, Williamston, MI 48895. The program includes a chip timed 5K and a separate kids fun run held on nearby sidewalks.
Distances and formats:
- 5K chip timed course through Williamston
- Kids fun run (ages 8 and under) approximately 0.3 miles on McCormick Park sidewalks
The 5K follows a mostly flat, scenic route through town. The course will be marked and supported by a bicycle volunteer. Printed maps are provided at packet pick up and on race day. There is one aid station supplying Gatorade and water, plus additional water and snacks before and after the race.
Kids registered for the fun run receive shirts and prizes. Packet pick up is available Friday, October 2 at the St. Mary School gym and on race morning. Registration opens August 1 and closes October 3. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $35.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the kids run. Participants who register by September 18 are guaranteed their preferred custom logo t shirt size and are entered in an early registration prize drawing.
The event includes a post race gathering with face painting, popcorn and cotton candy, a photo booth area, and other family oriented activities. Timing is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
