About the race
St. Mary School Williamston Pace the Priest is a community running event held in Williamston, Michigan at 220 N Cedar Street. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a separate kids’ fun run for ages 8 and under.
Distances:
- 5K chip-timed race, open to runners and walkers (registration fee $35)
- Kid's fun run (approx. 0.3 miles) for ages 8 and under (registration fee $15)
Course and services are described as mostly flat and scenic through Williamston, with a marked route led by a bike volunteer. Printed maps are available at packet pick-up and on race day. There is one aid station supplying Gatorade and water, plus water and snacks available before and after the race. Registered children receive shirts and prizes.
Packet pick-up is scheduled Friday, October 2, 3:30–6:30 PM at St. Mary School Gym and on race morning beginning at 7:30 AM. Registration opens August 1 and closes October 3; registering by September 14 guarantees preferred custom logo t-shirt size and entry in the early registration prize drawing.
The event includes a family-oriented after party with activities such as face painting, popcorn and cotton candy, and photo booth props. Timing is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
