Fantasy 5K in Howell, Michigan
The event takes place on November 27, 2026, in downtown Howell at the First Presbyterian Church, 323 W Grand River Ave, Howell, MI 48843. Packet pick-up and race day registration are held at the same church on race day from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Registered participants receive a commemorative long sleeve cotton T-shirt and must wear a race bib to participate.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles) course on Grand River Avenue in historic downtown Howell
- 1 Mile follows the same route shortened to the one mile distance
The 5K course runs on Grand River Avenue and precedes the Fantasy of Lights parade. Registered finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal and a slice of Hungry Howie's pizza at the finish line. Awards in the 5K will be given to the top three Overall, top three Master's, and top three Grandmaster's runners for each gender; there will be no age group awards this year. Award pick-up is located behind the church as soon as results are available.
Registration opens June 29, 2026, and closes October 16, 2026; the registration fee is $30. Results will be posted online after the event. A course map is provided by the organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
