St. Luke's New Town Triathlon, Saint Charles MO
The St. Luke's New Town Triathlon is a two day event held at New Town Lake Drive in Saint Charles, Missouri, with youth races and the main triathlon weekend on July 11 and 12, 2026. The event evolved from an earlier biathlon and duathlon into its current triathlon format.
Adult race offerings include multiple individual and team formats. Course profiles at the venue are flat. Distances for the main adult courses are:
- Long course: Swim 0.62 miles, Bike 20 miles, Run 4 miles
- Sprint course: Swim 0.3 miles, Bike 17 miles, Run 2 miles
Youth races take place on Saturday and are divided by age on December 31, 2026, with these distances:
- Kids ages 7 to 10: Swim 100 yards, Bike 1.25 miles, Run 0.5 miles
- Kids ages 11 to 15: Swim 200 yards, Bike 3.75 miles, Run 1 mile
The event is sponsored by St. Luke's Hospital and produced by Big Shark Bicycle Company and Big Shark Events. An Open Water Swim Series runs almost every Saturday from May 2 through June 27, 2026, with no swims on Memorial Day Weekend or July 4th Weekend.
