Run Buchanan for the Parks
Run Buchanan for the Parks is an inaugural fundraising event organized to support park improvement projects managed by the Buchanan Area Recreation Board. All proceeds from the race fees are allocated specifically toward the enhancement of the Buchanan Parks system. The event serves as the opening activity for the Sip Buchanan event held on the same day.
The following distances are available for participants:
- 1 mile Fun Run
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
The event base is located at the Redbud City Center at 131 South Oak Street in Buchanan, Michigan. Both the start and finish lines for the various routes are situated at the Buchanan Common. Participants can expect a family friendly environment and the organizers provide refreshments to runners following the completion of their respective races.
