5k Beer Run x St. Elmo Brewing
The event is a community 5K fun run that starts and ends at St. Elmo Brewing Company in Austin, Texas. The route is approximately 5K, marked with arrows, and weaves through the surrounding neighborhood. The course is open to traffic and roads will not be closed, so participants are required to obey all traffic laws and exercise caution on city sidewalks, streets, and trails.
Participants may run, walk, or jog at their own pace. There are no official timing clocks for this run. Dogs and strollers are permitted on the course with care and attention to surroundings. The event is held rain or shine; if conditions make running unsafe, on-site activities may continue.
A craft beverage from St. Elmo Brewing is provided at the finish for participants of legal drinking age. A valid ID or driver’s license is required; those under 21 will receive a token for a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage. There will not be a bag check, so attendees should plan accordingly. Free parking is available at the location.
