About the race
Turkey Trails - Austin is an event at Southeast Metro Park in Del Valle, Texas on 11/21/2026 that offers multiple race formats including in-person and virtual options. Distances and formats available include:
- 50 m kids dash for ages 10 and under
- 1 mile untimed fun run
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half marathon (13.1 miles)
- Virtual race option
Race entries include event swag for many distances: a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal are listed for the half marathon, 5K, 10K, and 1 mile. The kids dash includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a child-specific medal; children may also run the kids dash without receiving swag at no charge. The event uses chip timing with live results for timed races and will present awards. Free race photos and refreshments at the finish are mentioned.
There are several registration categories and fees listed for various events, for example the half marathon fee is $55 and 5K/10K fees are $31 in some registration periods; a virtual entry fee is listed as $42. A Running Buddy half marathon requires prior application and approval. A volunteer-then-run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and allows them to run a distance afterward. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
