Sri Chinmoy Heart-Garden 2 Mile Run
The Sri Chinmoy Heart-Garden 2 Mile Run is an annual community event held on 10 October in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, New York. The program combines a short road race with a memorial ceremony that honors citizens recognized for self-giving and community service inspired by Sri Chinmoy.
The event program includes a running competition, children’s fun runs, a Peace Run program and a Heart-Garden ceremony featuring a peace walk with a torch, torch-bearer awards, short inspirational remarks, and light refreshments. Entry is free and registration is available on race day only.
Distances

- Children's fun runs 100 m and 800 m

The location sits within Flushing Meadows Corona Park, a site associated with the World’s Fair and major sporting events.
