Brooklyn PTA Fun Run for Schools 2026
The event is the 17th annual PTA Fun Run held in Prospect Park, with a 3.3 miles loop that starts and finishes on the main park drive just outside the LeFrak Center at Lakeside. Bib pickup and pre-race activities take place inside the LeFrak Center.
The event serves local public school communities and raises net proceeds to support PTAs at high need schools. Organizers describe the event as inclusive of many modes of participation, including runners, walkers, strollers, tricycles, scooters, and wheelchairs. The Fun Run is scheduled to proceed in rain or shine except in hazardous conditions such as lightning.
