Sprint to Flint 5K & 1M Run/Walk and Tots Run

Sprint to Flint is a community running event held at Flint Park Playhouse in Larchmont, NY. The program includes multiple distances and a short tots run designed for very young children. Registration was not yet open at the time of the listing.

The event features live bands along the 1 Mile and 5K routes, music by a local DJ, pizza and summer fruit, and free event photos and same day finish line pictures. Organizers provided race medals for all kid participants in 2026. Compost stations will be available and runners are advised to bring refillable water bottles.

Awards for the 5K and 1 Mile are based on chip time rather than gun time. 5K awards include overall trophies and age group medals across standard age divisions. The 1 Mile awards focus on children 12 and under, with ribbons provided to 12 and under finishers. Scholarship assistance is available through event organizers.

Bib pickup is offered the evening before the event at Flint Park Playhouse and on race day; untimed bibs may be available later for a donation. Live online and text results, plus free video and photos, are provided after the race.
