Sprint to Flint 5K & 1M Run/Walk & Tots Run
This community road-running event takes place at Flint Park Playhouse in Larchmont, New York. It offers multiple distances and a short tots dash inside the park. Registration is not yet open and early registration benefits are noted by the organizer.
Event features reported from prior years include live bands along the 1 Mile and 5K routes, music by a local DJ, pizza and summer fruit for participants, and free post-race photos. The 2026 update included race medals for all kid participants. Participants are asked to bring refillable water bottles and to use provided compost stations.
Awards and timing information are listed as examples from a previous year; awards for the 5K and 1 Mile are based on chip time rather than gun time. Examples include overall and age-group trophies, plaques, medals, and gift vouchers, with specific youth awards for the 1 Mile. Scholarships are available through the event organizer.
Logistics note: bib pickup is available before race day at Flint Park Playhouse and on race day; untimed bibs may be offered after the timed-registration deadline for a donation.
