Sprint to Flint 5K & 1M Run/Walk : Larchmont
Sprint to Flint is a community running event held at Flint Park Playhouse in Larchmont, New York. The event includes multiple distances and a short tots run for very young children. Registration is not yet open; organizers indicate registration will open before the event and that notifications will be provided when it does. Scholarships are available.
Features noted for recent editions include live bands along the 1 Mile and 5K routes, pizza and summer fruit, music by a local DJ, free event photos after the race, and race medals for children in 2026. Participants are asked to bring refillable water bottles and to use compost stations on site. Race results are distributed live online and via email or text, and same-day finish-line photos and video are provided.
Awards from 2025 are listed as examples and included age-group medals and overall trophies and vouchers; all awards for the 5K and 1 Mile were based on chip time rather than gun time. Bib pickup is offered the day before and on race day; untimed bibs may be available later on race day for a donation. Personalized race numbers and the option to purchase race shirts were available for registrations completed three weeks in advance.
