Sprint to Flint 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk in Larchmont
Sprint to Flint is a community running event held at Flint Park Playhouse on Locust Avenue in Larchmont, NY. Registration is not yet open; organizers plan to open registration ahead of the event date.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Tots Run approximately 200 m inside the park
The course features live bands along the 1 Mile and 5K routes, music by a local DJ, pizza from Villa Maria and summer fruits. Photos and same day finish line videos are provided to participants for free after the event. The 2026 event introduced medals for all kid participants. The tots run is a short dash inside the park and offers a finisher ribbon and a T shirt.
Awards for the 5K and 1 Mile are based on chip time. The 5K includes overall awards and age group medals; the 1 Mile focuses on awards for children 12 and under with medals and ribbons. Bib pickup is available the day before at Flint Park Playhouse and on race day; untimed bibs may be offered on race day for a donation. Scholarships are available for participants. Compost stations are provided and participants are encouraged to bring refillable water bottles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
