Sprint to Flint 5K & 1M Run/Walk
The Sprint to Flint event is a community run/walk hosted at Flint Park Playhouse in Larchmont, NY. The program includes a one-mile fun run, a 5K run/walk, and a short tots run for very young children held inside the park.

The event typically features live bands along the 1-mile and 5K routes, music by a local DJ, pizza and summer fruit for participants, and free event photos available after the race. Organizers provide live results and same-day finish line pictures and video. Participants are asked to bring refillable water bottles and to use compost stations on site.
Awards are issued based on chip time for the 5K and 1-mile events. Prior awards have included trophies, plaques, gift vouchers, and age-group medals; awards for children and age-group placements have been part of past events. New in 2026, race medals were provided for all kid participants. Pre-race bib pickup is offered the day before and on race day, and registering in advance can enable a personalized race number and the option to purchase a race shirt for adults.
