About the race
The Springmaid Trail Race takes place on November 7, 2026, at the Anne Springs Close Greenway Lake Haigler Entrance in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The event is dedicated to the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park and includes a Dog Jog alongside running and hiking options for family participants and dogs.

- 5K and Dog Jog
- 5K Hike Challenge
Awards are offered by age group and overall placements. Age-group categories include 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Specific recognitions include top overall male and female finishers for the 10K and half marathon, top overall male, female, and dog for the 5K, and top three male and female in age groups for each distance. Half marathon finishers receive medals.
Race registration is non-refundable unless the optional refund protection plan is purchased. Transfers to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value are permitted more than two weeks before the event at the Race Director’s discretion. The event runs rain or shine unless severe weather requires cancellation, in which case refunds are not issued unless the protection plan was purchased.
Logistics note: early packet pickup is available the day before at the Greenway Gateway with a drive-up procedure. Volunteer positions are listed for race support. Members do not pay parking fees at signature events; standard daily admission fees apply to non-members ages 3 and up. Race swag and course maps are provided for each distance.
