Springmaid Trail Race
The Springmaid Trail Race is a trail running event at Anne Springs Close Greenway held on November 7, 2026, at the Lake Haigler Entrance in Fort Mill, SC. The event offers multiple ways to participate on natural trails and supports the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park.
Distances available include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K and Dog Jog
- 5K Hike Challenge
Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the Greenway Gateway at the Lake Haigler Entrance, with drive-up pickup where participants are asked to remain in their vehicles. Race registration is non-refundable unless a refund protection plan is purchased during registration. Registrants may transfer their entry more than two weeks before the race to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value; transfers are subject to the Race Director's approval. The event is held rain or shine unless severe weather requires cancellation; if the race is canceled for severe weather there are no refunds unless refund protection was purchased.
Awards include top overall male and female results for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, top three overall placements in the 5K Dog Jog including dogs, top three in male and female age groups across distances, and finisher medals for the Half Marathon. Greenway members are exempt from parking fees at signature events; standard daily admission fees apply to non-members ages 3 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
