Springbank Road Races

Event overview

The Springbank Road Races take place in Springbank Park, London, Ontario on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The event is part of the SoleScience / London Road Races series and supports the charity Operation Walk Canada. The course uses the paved pathway system along the Thames River in Springbank Park. Washrooms are available in the park and light refreshments are provided after the races.

Courses, entries and logistics

Distances offered:

• Half Marathon - small loop in Springbank Park then out-and-back on Thames River path
• 5K Run & Walk - out-and-back loop of Springbank Park
• 2.1K Run - final 2.1 km of the Half Marathon course
• Kiddy Trot - about 250 meters for children up to age 12

• Half Marathon: CA$78.50 to CA$94.83
• 5K Run/Walk: CA$51.26 to CA$62.15
• 2.1K: CA$24.03 to CA$34.93
• Kiddy Trot: CA$7.69

The event uses timing chips attached to bib numbers; participants must pick up their assigned bib and chip. All Half Marathon finishers receive a finisher medal. Half Marathon cash prizes are listed for Open and Masters categories, and age-group merchandise awards are offered for the Half Marathon, 5K and 2.1K. Awards may be collected at SoleScience after the event. Directions note entry to Springbank Park from Commissioners Road West and use of the large Storybook Gardens parking lot; parking on the grass is not permitted except for race setup.
