The Running Kind and Metta Performance are hosting a guided trail running training camp in the Catskill mountains, located north of New York City. The camp takes place over a weekend, focusing on a small group setting for individual coaching attention.

Camp Focus

The programming is designed to enhance trail running skills on mountainous terrain, which includes technical scrambles, runnable ridge lines, and long vertical climbs. In addition to on-trail experience, participants can join mental performance discussions led by Metta Performance.

The camp begins on Friday with arrival, a social gathering, intention setting, and a Metta Performance session. Saturday features a long run of about 13 miles with 5000 ft of elevation gain, followed by lunch, a cold plunge, and coaching discussions. Sunday includes a shorter run of about 8 miles with 3000 ft of elevation gain before departure.
