Event Overview

The Hudson Valley Triathlon Club Summer Tri Series takes place across three Wednesday evenings in the summer of 2026 at Kenneth L. Wilson State Park in Mount Tremper, near Woodstock, New York. This is described as the 24th year for the series.

Format and Distances

The main event is a super sprint triathlon with the following distances:

  • A 400m swim
  • A 12-mile bike ride
  • A 2-mile run

The event is USAT sanctioned. An AquaBike option (swim and bike only) is offered for individuals, but not for relay teams. Paratriathletes are welcome to participate.

Series Structure

The series consists of three individual races:

  • Race #1 on June 17
  • Race #2 on July 15
  • Race #3 on August 12

Participants can choose to race in a single event or all three in the series. Points are earned at each race, with the top five male and female athletes being honored as season champions.

Participant Information

The event accommodates both individual athletes and relay teams. The organizers state there are no cut-off times for the races.
