Event details
The event takes place on April 25, 2026 at Third Winchester Battlefield in Winchester, VA. It offers three distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Spring Series. A virtual race option is available. The event is organized by Bishops Events. Registration fees listed include early and later pricing and note a race morning price increase of $5. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before April 15; additional shirts may be available after that date on a first-come, first-served basis. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered.
Course, timing and services
The course is a trail route on mostly light gravel and dirt paths. The 5k is one loop, the 10k is two loops, and the half marathon is three loops with a detour out-and-back section each lap. The event is chip timed and provides a finisher’s medal and a technical event shirt. Water and some Gatorade will be supplied at multiple stations along each course; stations and locations are subject to change. Live race results are posted, with final results and series points published after the event. Awards are given to the top three overall men and women and to age-group finishers across standard age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
