Spring Thaw 2026
Spring Thaw 2026 takes place on a closed road course along Riverside Drive in Windsor, Ontario. The event features a start and finish area located at the Running Factory Wyandotte Street East location. This community race supports local charitable efforts with all proceeds benefiting the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
The event offers several distance options:
- 5 km Run/Walk
- 1 km Kids Race
- 200 m Kids Dash
The 5 km event is chip-timed, and running strollers are permitted on the course. Participants receive a finishers medal and limited edition event swag. Following the race, hospitality is provided by local sponsors, and complimentary massages are available from students of the Canadian College of Massage.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top finisher in each age group. Race packet pickup is scheduled for the days leading up to the event at 5480 Wyandotte Street East; there is no packet pickup available on the morning of the race.
