Run for Rocky 5 km Run and 3 km Walk 2026
Run for Rocky takes place on 8 August 2026 at Dieppe Gardens, Riverside Drive West, Windsor, in conjunction with Windsor‑Essex Pride Fest Weekend. Registration for the event is open and entries include several participation options.

The route follows the Windsor waterfront, passes the Windsor Sculpture Park and runs toward the Ambassador Bridge, starting and finishing at Dieppe Gardens. The walk and run offer riverside views of the Detroit River and the city skyline.
The Run for Rocky Legacy Project funds Gender and Sexuality Alliance clubs in local secondary and post secondary schools. Funding includes GSA grants, scholarships, support for attendance at GSA educational conferences, supplies, an annual GSA toolkit with Booster Boxes, and diversity training for educators. Proceeds also support local 2SLGBTQIA+ agencies, including Windsor Pride Community, Windsor‑Essex Pride Fest and Trans Wellness Windsor.
Registration categories include a 2026 commemorative pin and a University of Windsor Women's Soccer Game ticket. Additional options offer an official T shirt or hoodie. The event is not timed, but medals are awarded to first and second place finishers in the following age groups: 5–11, 12–17, 18–40, 41–60, and over 60. Leashed dogs, baby buggies and children's wagons are welcome. Children 12 and under accompanied by a parent or guardian may attend at no charge and do not have to register.
