Run for Rocky 5 km Run/3 km Walk : Dieppe Gardens, Windsor
The event takes place on August 8, 2026 at Dieppe Gardens, Riverside Drive West, Windsor, ON, Canada. Two course options are listed:

The route follows the Windsor waterfront from Dieppe Gardens toward the Ambassador Bridge and passes the Windsor Sculpture Park. Registration categories include packages that provide a 2026 commemorative pin and a University of Windsor women's soccer game ticket, with optional t shirt or hoodie packages.
Run for Rocky funds the Run for Rocky Legacy Project, which supports Gender and Sexuality Alliance clubs in local elementary, high school and post secondary settings in Windsor‑Essex. Support includes GSA grants, scholarships, funding for educational conferences, supplies and resources, yearly GSA Toolkit Booster Boxes, and diversity training for educators. Part of the event proceeds also support local 2SLGBTQIA+ agencies, Windsor Pride Community, Windsor‑Essex Pride Fest and Trans Wellness Windsor. The event page shows CA$7,684.89 raised and 117 participants.
Prizes are awarded to the top individual fundraisers and to the team that raises the most funds; a commemorative team trophy is kept by the winner for one year. Although the event is not timed, medals are given to top finishers in age categories. Leashed dogs, baby buggies and children's wagons are welcome. Children 12 and under accompanied by a parent or guardian attend at no charge and do not have to register. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
