Run for Rocky 5 km Run / 3 km Walk 2026
The event takes place on August 8, 2026 at Dieppe Gardens, Riverside Drive West, Windsor. It is held in conjunction with Windsor-Essex Pride Fest Weekend and combines a running and walking option with fundraising.

The route starts at Dieppe Gardens, follows the Windsor waterfront toward the Ambassador Bridge and passes through the Windsor Sculpture Park, providing views of the Detroit River and the city skyline.
Fundraising supports the Run for Rocky Legacy Project, which provides funding to Gender and Sexuality Alliance clubs in local secondary and post-secondary schools. Support includes GSA grants, scholarships, funding for conference attendance, supplies and educational resources, yearly GSA Toolkit Booster Boxes, and diversity training for educators. A portion of funds also goes to local 2SLGBTQIA+ agencies including Windsor Pride Community, Windsor-Essex Pride Fest, and Trans Wellness Windsor.
Participants receive a 2026 commemorative pin and a ticket to a University of Windsor women’s soccer game according to registration category. Prizes are awarded to top individual fundraisers and a trophy is given to the team raising the most funds. Medals are awarded to top finishers in age categories. Leashed dogs, baby buggies and children’s wagons are welcome. Children 12 and under accompanied by a parent or guardian may attend without registration.
