Run for Rocky 5 km Run / 3 km Walk : Dieppe Gardens, Windsor
Run for Rocky offers a 5 km run and a 3 km walk on August 8, 2026 at Dieppe Gardens in Windsor, held in conjunction with Windsor‑Essex Pride Fest Weekend. Registration is open.

The route follows the Windsor waterfront from Dieppe Gardens to the Ambassador Bridge and passes the Windsor Sculpture Park, with views of the Detroit River and the skyline across the river. Participants receive a 2026 commemorative pin and a ticket to a University of Windsor women's soccer game. Registration packages are available that include a t‑shirt or a hoodie.
The Run for Rocky Legacy Project funds Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) clubs in local senior schools and post‑secondary institutions. Support includes GSA grants, scholarships, funding for educational conferences, supplies, a GSA Toolkit with Booster Boxes, educational resources for parents and educators, and diversity training for educators. Funds from the event also support local 2SLGBTQIA+ agencies including the Windsor Pride Community, Windsor‑Essex Pride Fest, and Trans Wellness Windsor.
Prizes are awarded to the top individual fundraisers and a Run for Rocky Pride Trophy is given to the team that raises the most funds; the trophy is held by the winning team for one year with the team name inscribed. Although the event is not timed, medals are awarded to top finishers in age categories. Leashed dogs, baby buggies, and children's wagons are welcome. Afternoon Pride Fest activities at Pride Fest Plaza in Lanspeary Park include live music, vendor booths, and food and beverage service.
