CHASS 5k Run/Walk & Kid's Superhero Race - Detroit, MI
In its 13th year, this community event is held at the Community Health & Social Services (CHASS) Center in Detroit's Mexicantown. The program includes a small local food expo, mariachi dancers, and other local offerings. Children may dress as superheroes for a short, untimed run that is part of the day's activities. Proceeds support personal care and learning needs for the most vulnerable neighbors.
Registration opens on May 27, 2026. The listed registration fee is $25; the fee increases on July 18, 2026, and online registration closes the Tuesday before the event. Walk-in registration on race day is available with an additional increase in pricing.
