CHASS 5k Run/Walk & Kid's Superhero Race
This community running event in its 14th year is held at the Community Health & Social Services (CHASS) Center in Detroit's Mexicantown. The event includes a small local food expo, mariachi dancers and other local flavor as part of the community celebration.
There are two event options:
- 5 km
- 0.5 miles kids Superhero Run, untimed; children may dress as their favorite superhero.

The fee increases on 2026-07-18 and digital registration closes on the Tuesday prior to the event. Walk-in registration on the day of the event is available with an additional price increase.
