Fall 2026 Run Iron Mike Run 5K Run/Walk
Run Iron Mike Run is offered as both an in-person and a virtual 5K run/walk in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with the in-person event held at the Polo Field adjacent to 1-2739 R Miller Street, Fort Bragg. The virtual option may be completed any time during the week of Monday, 30 November to Monday, 7 December 2026. Registration opened on 25 July 2026 and different registration types carry different fees; options listed include free sponsor registration and paid participant registrations up to $40.
The event is timed and awards prizes for top overall male and top overall female finishers, plus top male and female finishers in the following age categories: under 15, 15–20, 21–29, 30–39, 40–49, and 50 and over. All registrants receive a custom 2026 RunIronMikeRun 5K finisher medal and a 2026 RunIronMikeRun 5K race shirt. In-person entries are limited to 150 participants.
Packet distribution is handled differently for virtual and in-person participants. Virtual participants receive mailed race packets after completion of race shirt and medal production and during the virtual race period. Pre-race day packet pick up is scheduled at Two Two Six, The Warehouse, 226 Donaldson Street, Fayetteville, NC, on Thursday, 6 December 2026. On the day of the in-person event, packet pick up is available at the Polo Field. A post-race photo will be taken at the Iron Mike statue.
