Cape Fear River Run
The Cape Fear River Run takes place in Fayetteville, North Carolina, utilizing the Cape Fear River Trail. This route consists of a paved greenway trail that follows the path of the Cape Fear River. The event transitions through the local landscape with the start and finish lines located at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 19.3 miles (River Rage Double)
The River Rage Double requires runners to complete the 10k distance before beginning the 13.1 miles course. All participants must adhere to specific pace requirements to remain on the course. The 10k requires a pace of 14:29 minutes per mile, while the 13.1 miles event requires a pace of 14:52 minutes per mile. The entire course closes at 11:15 AM.
On-course support is provided for all runners throughout the event. A VIP experience is available for a limited number of entrants, offering access to a private heated tent, dedicated refreshments, bag storage, and an expedited packet pick-up process.
