Cape Fear River Run : Fayetteville, NC
The Cape Fear River Run takes place along the Cape Fear River Trail and uses different paved greenway routes. The start and finish are at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. On-course support will be available. Pets are not allowed at this event.

Registration for the events opens March 21, 2026 and closes March 23, 2026. Listed registration fees are $63.00 for the 10K, $80.00 for the half marathon, and $130.00 for the River Rage Double. Each race includes a required pace: the Cape Fear 10k requires a 14:29 minute pace and the half marathon requires a 14:52 minute pace. The River Rage Double requires participants to complete the 10K and then run the half marathon on the same day; the event includes a course closing rule.
A VIP add-on is available with a private heated tent, VIP-only refreshments, bag storage, and a VIP line for early packet pick up. The VIP option is limited to 35 entrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
