Spring Into Action Run
Spring Into Action Run is a fundraiser taking place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. The event is organized by members of the Rotary Club of Burlington North and offers morning running and walking activities on a trail described as flat and fast, followed by park activities.
Features include custom medals for all runners, fresh pancakes, and a Kids Zone for families. The run benefits Capillary Wave Community, a grassroots movement focused on mental health support for men and women and on healing through community connection.
Distances and formats offered:
- 10K - chip-timed run
- 5K - chip-timed run
- 5K - walk not timed, dogs welcomed
- 1K - fun run for children under 12 on event day
Regular fees listed:
- Adults: 10K Timed $55 plus fees, 5K Timed $55 plus fees, 5K Walk $40 plus fees
- Students 18 and under: 10K $30 plus fees, 5K $30 plus fees, 5K Walk $25 plus fees, 1K $25 plus fees
Bronte Creek Provincial Park charges per vehicle for park entry. Seasonal pass holders enter free. Daily vehicle permit $18.00, senior permit $14.50, Ontario Accessible Parking Permit $9.00, bus permit $62.50. Participants are directed to Parking Lot F near the Breckon Shelter for registration.
