Spring Into Action Run
The Spring Into Action Run takes place on Sunday May 3, 2026 at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. The event is a fundraiser organized by members of the Rotary Club of Burlington North and benefits Capillary Wave Community, a grassroots movement focused on mental health support.
The course follows a trail described as flat and fast. All runners receive a custom medal. Onsite amenities include fresh pancakes and a Kids Zone for families.
Distances offered:
- 10K chip timed
- 5K chip timed
- 5K walk, dogs welcome
- 1K fun run for children under 12 on the event day
The 5K and 10K are chip timed. The 5K walk is not timed and allows dogs. The 1K fun run is aimed at families and young children.
Registration fees differ by category and age, with separate adult and student pricing and an early bird option available until February 28. Bronte Creek Provincial Park charges admission by vehicle; seasonal pass holders enter free. Participants are asked to use Parking Lot "F" after entering the park, near the Breckon Shelter where registration is located. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
