Boxing Day Run, Hamilton Ontario
The 2026 event is the 103rd running of the Boxing Day Run in Hamilton. The race is described as Canada’s second oldest road race and takes place on Boxing Day.

The course runs through downtown streets and along a paved waterfront trail. The start and finish lines are located together on Hughson Street near King William and King Street, a few blocks from the downtown YMCA.
The race hub is inside the YMCA Main Gymnasium. Facilities include bib and race wear pickup, post race refreshments and awards, change rooms with showers, and a welcoming space for spectators and families.
The 2024 race donated $5,000 to the YMCA Saves Lives Campaign to help provide local children and youth access to YMCA programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
