Boxing Day Run - Hamilton
The Boxing Day Run takes place in Hamilton, ON. The 2026 event is the 103rd running and is presented as Canada’s second oldest road race.

The course goes through downtown streets and along a paved waterfront trail, combining urban sections with waterfront running. The start and finish are located together on Hughson Street near King Street, a few blocks from the downtown YMCA.
A warm, fully indoor race hub is set up in the YMCA Main Gymnasium. The indoor area includes bib and race-wear pickup, post-race refreshments and awards, change rooms with showers, and space for spectators and families.
The 2024 race donated $5,000 to the YMCA Saves Lives Campaign to support local children and youth access to YMCA programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
