2027 Chilly Half Marathon
The 2027 Chilly Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, February 28, 2027 in Burlington, Ontario, with event operations based at Burlington City Hall on Brant Street. The course runs through downtown Burlington and along the waterfront.
The route is certified by Athletics Canada under certificate ON-2013-092-BDC and measures 21.0975 km. The organizer describes the course as fast and flat. The course is open for a maximum of 3 hours 30 minutes and all participants must finish within that time.
The event offers in person and virtual participation. The virtual race window is February 26 to March 17, 2027 and uses the ASICS Runkeeper app for tracking and result submission. Virtual entrants receive a finisher shirt and medal and may have their race kit mailed or pick it up during scheduled kit pickups. Registered runners must arrange race kit pickup before race day; proxy pickup is allowed with a copy of the registration confirmation.
On course support includes water stations at Guelph Line, Walkers Line, Appleby Line and Burloak Drive serving water only. Porta potties are provided at several points along Lakeshore and at Burloak Waterfront Park. A baggage check is available inside the Burlington Arts Performing Centre and shuttle bus service runs from partner hotels, Nickel Brook Brewery and Burlington GO to the race site.
