Event Overview

The Spring Fling Run takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The event is located at the Hansen Dam Recreation Area Ranger Station on Foothill Blvd in Lake View Terrace, California. It offers three distances:

10K
Half Marathon

Course Details

The courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K route is used once for that distance and twice for the 10K. The Half Marathon is run on a 4.4-mile loop, repeated three times. The courses are not closed to the public, so participants share the path with other runners, walkers, and visitors. The routes are well-marked and feature two water stations along the way.

Event Logistics

Bib pick-up opens on race morning. Free parking lots are available near the start area. Participants can leave personal items at a gear check tent. All finishers receive a race medal, with special awards for the first overall male and female finishers in each distance.
