Spring Fling Race Series : Bigfoot Running Company - Austin
The Spring Fling Race Series takes place on 04/03/2027 at East Metro Park in Pflugerville, TX 78660; the street address is to be determined. The event includes on-site running races and a virtual race, with mixed course surfaces that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Races proceed in all weather conditions.
Registration information: Registration opens 2026-08-01. Some race registrations close on 2026-12-08 while others remain open until the event date. Registration fees vary by event and category; youth pricing and group/referral refunds are offered for some entries.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash: 50 m
- 1 Mile: 1 mile
- 5K: 3.11 miles
- 10K: 6.55 miles
- Volunteer then Run 5K: 3.11 miles
- Virtual Run: 13.1 miles
Timing and awards: The 5K and 10K are chip-timed and include overall trophies for 1st male and female, a masters (40+) recognition, and standard age-group awards. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are not chip-timed. Age groups run from 10 & under up to 70+.
Volunteers: Volunteer roles include water stations, course monitors, finish line support, sweepers, packet pickup, floaters, lead bike, and mascot. Full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP race access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 Amazon digital gift card.
