Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K Austin
Gingerbread Lane is a holiday themed race at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville, TX. The event offers on-site and virtual options across multiple distances and provides shirts and medals for finishers.
The event includes the following distances:
- Kids Dash: about 50 meters, for children 10 and under.
- 1 Mile: untimed, includes shirt and medal.
- 5K: chip timed, 3.11 miles, trophies and age group awards.
- 10K: chip timed, 6.22 miles, Bigfoot trophies and age group awards.
- Virtual Run: 6.22 miles distance available.
- Volunteer then Run: help before race then run 5K, limited to first 20.
Awards for the 5K and 10K include first overall trophies for male and female finishers, masters recognition pins, and standard age group pins across multiple categories. All finishers in all distances receive a shirt and medal. Aid stations will be available on course to provide water and assistance.
Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Volunteer roles are described for positions such as course monitor, water station, packet pickup, and finish line helper; some volunteer roles earn a race shirt, souvenir medal subject to availability, VIP access, and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 pre paid digital gift card.
