The Spring Fever Chase returns to Fairhope, AL, as the 48th annual edition. The event includes a 10K and a 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk and lists Thomas Hospital and Wells Fargo among its sponsors. Donations for the event will benefit Baldwin County Schools. The event takes place in downtown Fairhope with views of Mobile Bay.

The 10K is accurately measured and described as flat to rolling. There are five water stations along the 10K route and an additional water station at the finish. A finish line clock displays unofficial times; for an official time, participants are instructed to remain in the chute after crossing the finish line.
The race offers a wheelchair division and a walker category for the 10K. Registration is organized with multiple pricing windows, including early registration periods from Dec 1 to Dec 30, Dec 31 to Feb 28, and Mar 1 to Mar 20.
