Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Mobile, AL (49)
The event offers three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. All races take place at Medal of Honor Park on Hillcrest Road in Mobile, Alabama.
All runners must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the start of the race.
The 5K and 10K share a 0.78-mile out-and-back course segment. The 5K race completes this segment two times, and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a separate 1.09-mile out-and-back segment, which is completed six times to form the full distance.
A finisher medal is awarded to participants. There is a gear shop for shirts and other merchandise, and a "Best Costume" element is part of the event. Awards are given, and the event contributes to a series points system. The overall time limit for the course is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
