Event Overview
The Soul Tea Foundation hosts the Spread the Love annual 5K run and walk. This is the event's fifth year. It benefits the Soul Tea Foundation, which supports individuals through workshops and pathways for career or entrepreneurial advancement.
Location and Date
The event takes place at Martin House Brewing Company in Fort Worth, Texas. The date is Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Race Distances and Schedule
There are two race distances:
- 5K run/walk (3.12 miles)
- 1 mile fun run
The event schedule includes packet pickup, the 1 mile fun run, the 5K, and later, the tap room opening at the brewery.
Registration and Fees
Registration is available online until October 2, 2026, and in person on race day from 7:00 AM. Entry fees increase closer to the event date. There are separate fees for the 5K, 1 mile, kids under 12, and a virtual 5K option.
Event Features
The course is described as flat and will be chip-timed. Participants receive custom finisher medals. There will be a kid zone, free snacks and refreshments, and raffle prizes. Participants over 21 receive two craft beers. Awards are given for overall male and female winners and are awarded two deep in various age brackets for the 5K run.
