Spooky Sprint - Omaha
The Spooky Sprint is an annual Halloween-themed running event at Lake Zorinsky Boat Ramp in Omaha, Nebraska, held on 10/17/2026. It features a mix of in-person and virtual options and multiple race formats across youth and adult distances.
Distances and formats
- Kids Dash: 50 m, untimed, youth-sized shirt and kids' medal
- 1 Mile: untimed, includes custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal
- 5K: 3.1 miles, includes custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal
- 10K: 6.2 miles, includes custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, includes custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal
- Virtual Race: run anywhere with event swag
- Volunteer then Run: volunteer before packet pickup then run any distance
- Running Buddy Half Marathon: requires prior application and approval
Event services and notes Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for timed races. Free race photos and treats at the finish line are offered. Youth pricing applies to the 5K and 10K for ages 12 and under at $17. The Volunteer then Run option notes arrival 30 minutes before packet pickup to assist the event; the Running Buddy entry requires prior approval.
