Spooky Sprint - Greater Chicago
Spooky Sprint takes place on October 25, 2026, at Hammel Woods Route 59 Access, 554 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL 60404. The event offers multiple in-person race options and a virtual option.

The event includes chip timing with live results and awards for timed distances. Event registration items vary by distance; several distances include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The kids dash is untimed for ages 10 and under and includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a medal; children may participate in the dash without receiving swag at no charge. A virtual race option lets participants run remotely and still receive event swag.
Additional on-site features listed for the event include free photos and treats at the finish line. A Volunteer then Run option pairs event volunteer work with the ability to run any distance afterward; volunteers are requested to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup. Youth-based pricing for the 5K and 10K is available for ages 12 and under at $17. Shirt guarantee applies to registrations completed by midnight on the second Thursday before race day.
