Spooky Sprint - Greater Chicago
Spooky Sprint takes place at Hammel Woods Route 59 Access, 554 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL 60404. The event offers multiple running options and a virtual race, with chip-timing and live results for timed distances and awards for finishers.
Available distances and formats:
- Kids Dash - 50 m, untimed; mini bib and youth-sized shirt.
- 1 Mile - untimed; custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal.
- 5K - 3.1 Miles; chip-timed; custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal.
- 10K - 6.2 Miles; custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles; custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal.
- Volunteer then Run - volunteer first, then run any distance of choice.
- Virtual Race - run anywhere, at any time; event swag provided.
The event includes free photos and treats at the finish line. Youth pricing applies for the 5K and 10K: $17 for ages 12 and under. The kids dash is designed for ages 10 and under and includes a specifically crafted medal; children may participate in the kids dash without receiving swag at no cost.
