Event Overview
The Spooky Sprint is a Halloween-themed running event held in the Greater Chicago area. This annual event offers multiple distances on a single day, catering to various preferences and fitness levels through scheduled road races and a virtual participation option.
Distance Options

- Kids Dash: A 50m untimed dash for children aged 10 and under.
Participant Details
The 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon events feature chip-timing with live results and awards. Participants in these categories, as well as the 1 Mile walk or run, receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. For the Kids Dash, registered participants receive a youth-sized shirt, a mini bib, and a specialized medal, though children may participate in the dash for free if they do not require the event items.
Additional Features
The event provides free photos to participants and offers food treats at the finish line. A "Volunteer then Run" option is available for those who wish to assist with packet pickup before participating in a race distance of their choice.
