Spooktacular 5K / 10K
The event is an out-and-back run and walk held at Pompano Air Park, 1103 N Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, Florida. Registration takes place at the south end of the Galuppis' restaurant parking lot. The course is run and walked on the sidewalk around the airport and is organized as a non-scored event.
Distances offered:
- 5K - 3.1 Miles
- 10K - 6.2 Miles
Each participant receives a club T-shirt, a finisher medal and a signature bib. Costumes are encouraged. Walkers doing the 10K are asked to plan to complete the course within 90 minutes. Packet pickup is available at Runner's Depot locations in Davie and Fort Lauderdale.
Published registration fees in the event listings are $25 for the 5K and $30 for the 10K. If a participant registers at Runner's Depot, the fee listed is $20 per person. Participants aged 75 and older are free when registered through the listed process.
