Spook Out Cancer - Saratoga Springs, NY
Spook Out Cancer is the second annual Halloween themed 5K community event on October 4, 2026 at the Orenda Pavilion in Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, New York. The event benefits the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network New York, the nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society.
- 5K Run/Walk : 3.1 Miles (in-person)
- VIRTUAL ONLY 5K Run/Walk : 3.1 Miles (virtual option for those not in Saratoga Springs)
The registration fee for each 5K option is $23. Registration opens September 24, 2026 and closes September 25, 2026. Day-of registration will be available and accepts cash or Venmo.
Race-day packet pickup will be available. Free parking is available in the main SPAC parking lot off Route 50 behind the box office, a short walk from the pavilion; parking directly at Orenda Pavilion requires a $10 park entrance fee not included in registration. Raffles run during the morning with tickets priced at $5 for one or $10 for three; winners will be announced later and presence is not required to win.
Dogs are welcome on leash. Top finishers will receive prizes. Apples, cider donuts, and fresh cider from local orchards will be available. Contributions or membership payments to ACS CAN are not tax deductible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
