Spook Out Cancer
Spook Out Cancer is a Halloween-themed community 5K event held at Orenda Pavilion in Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, NY, on October 4, 2026. The event benefits the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), the nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society, and supports ACS CAN New York's work on cancer policy and access to care.
The event features a 5K (3.1 Miles) Run/Walk. Registration opens May 25, 2026, and closes June 30, 2026; the listed registration fee is $32. Day-of registration will be available, with cash and Venmo accepted. Race bib pickup will be available on race day.
On-site offerings include raffles with tickets sold for $5 each or 3 tickets for $10 (cash or Venmo accepted), a trick-or-treat table, and refreshments such as apples, cider donuts, and fresh cider from local orchards. Dogs are welcome if leashed. Top finishers will receive prizes.
Parking is available in the main SPAC parking lot off Route 50; parking directly at Orenda Pavilion requires a $10 park entrance fee, which is not included in registration.
