Spook Out Cancer
Spook Out Cancer is a Halloween-themed community 5K event held at the Orenda Pavilion in Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, NY. The event benefits the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) New York and raises funds to support cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.
The event offers two 3.1 mile options:
- 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 miles (in-person)
- VIRTUAL ONLY 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 miles (virtual)
Packet pickup is available on race day. Day-of registration is offered and accepts cash or Venmo. Raffles and a trick-or-treat table operate during the event; raffle tickets are priced at $5 for one ticket or $10 for three tickets and may be purchased with cash or Venmo. Top finishers receive prizes. Dogs are welcome when kept on leash. Local food items such as apples, cider donuts, and fresh cider will be available onsite.
Parking is available in the main SPAC parking lot off Route 50 behind the box office; parking at Orenda Pavilion requires a $10 park entrance fee that is not included with registration.
