Saratoga Ugly Sweater 5K - Team GRINCH vs Team SANTA
The Saratoga Ugly Sweater 5K takes place on December 13, 2026, at 19 Roosevelt Dr., Saratoga Springs, NY. The event offers in-person and virtual options centered on a 5K distance, with team-based in-person races for Team SANTA and Team GRINCH and optional Beastmode challenge runs that add a strength element.
Entry fees vary by event: Team SANTA $40, Team GRINCH $42, Beastmode Santa Challenge $50, Beastmode Grinch Challenge $52, and virtual team entries $46. Registration opens September 12, 2026, and closes December 13, 2026.
Participants receive a team run shirt, a Christmas medal or ornament, and a jingle bell wristband. A costume contest will recognize Most Creative, Best Ugly Sweater, and Funniest outfits. The Beastmode Fitness Challenge asks participants to complete the same 5K course while carrying a fully wrapped Christmas tree; finishers of the Beastmode challenge earn an exclusive Slider attachment for their finisher medal ribbon.
Run clubs, teams, and businesses receive separate recognition and awards based on the average finish time of their members. Virtual entries may be completed any time in December; participants must submit their time and may receive mailed swag and a finisher medal if unable to attend pre-race packet pickup.
