Saratoga Ugly Sweater 5K
The 4th Saratoga Ugly Sweater 5K is scheduled for December 13, 2026 in Saratoga Springs, New York. The event offers in-person and virtual entries and divides participants between Team SANTA and Team GRINCH. The in-person races cover 3.1 miles and there are matching virtual options that also use the 3.1 mile distance.
In-person registration fees are $40 and virtual entries are $45. Registration opens October 1, 2026 and closes on December 13, 2026. Virtual participants may run the 3.1 miles anytime in December and must submit their time; organizers will mail swag and the finisher medal to participants who cannot attend pre-race packet pickup.
Event features include a team run shirt, a Christmas medal or ornament, a jingle bell wristband, and a costume contest with three award categories: Most Creative, Best Ugly Sweater, and Funniest. The event includes a Beastmode Strength Endurance Challenge and an optional Beastmode Fitness Challenge. For the Beastmode Fitness Challenge participants complete the full 5K loop while carrying a wrapped Christmas tree and earn a Beastmode Slider that attaches to the finisher medal ribbon.
