Spirit of Freedom 5K - Findlay
Marathon Petroleum and the local HONOR veterans employee network are hosting a 5K event in Findlay, Ohio on October 3, 2026. The in person race begins on East Hardin Street under the Marathon Petroleum skywalk. A virtual 5K option runs concurrently with the event window that extends through October 11, 2026.
The event is open to employees and community members. All race proceeds will benefit Flag City Honor Flight and other Honor Flight chapters, a nonprofit that organizes visits for U.S. veterans to national war memorials.
Registration opens June 16, 2026, and a registration fee of $30 applies. To receive a t shirt, registrants must sign up by September 1, 2026; t shirts are not guaranteed with later or race day registration. Race day registration is available and packet pickup details and mailed packet arrangements for virtual participants will be provided through the registration process.
