Spire Ultra

The Spire Ultra is a challenging 33-mile trail race set in the picturesque Derbyshire countryside, now in its 9th year. The route primarily follows the Chesterfield Round Walk, showcasing a variety of landscapes, including high moorland, ancient woodlands, and rolling farmland. Participants will encounter six checkpoints along the way, offering both drinks and food options.

The race is designed for navigation using maps and GPS, with marked tricky sections. Finishers receive a medal and light refreshments at the community resource center, along with prizes for the top male and female runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
