- 5K
- Student Spartan Shamrock (open to participants aged 19 and under)
Course Description
The course was a two-loop route around the local high school and elementary school. It featured a steady incline towards the main road, a decline along the road, and a pass through the elementary bus loop. The route continued between baseball and football fields, through the student parking lot, and repeated the loop, finishing on the school track. Strollers may have difficulty due to gravel sections and a curb.
Post-Race Activities
Free light refreshments were available after the race. Participants could take photos with the school mascot. Hot or iced coffee was offered from a coffee truck.
Awards
Awards were planned for 5K finishers in categories including Overall Male and Female, Masters, and age groups from 9 years up to 70+.
Parking and Logistics
Parking was available behind and in front of South Paulding High School, with overflow parking at Dugan. Race day check-in and registration were available before the event. A guaranteed race shirt was offered for registrations by February 27th.
