11th Annual Dashing through the Square 5K Run/Walk
The 11th Annual Dashing through the Square 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for December 19, 2026, in Marietta Square, Marietta, Georgia. The event is presented by The PEARL Foundation, Inc. and is a Northside Hospital Peachtree Qualifying Race held at 50 N Park Square.
The event offers three entry options: a 5K timed race with electronic chip timing, a 5K untimed option, and a Virtual 5K that participants can complete from any location. Virtual registration includes shipping and handling.
The course goes past historic homes and the shops that line Marietta Square. The event is described as family friendly. All 5K participants receive a runner's t-shirt and all finishers receive a commemorative medal. Award medals are presented to first and second place male and female finishers in these age groups: 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 and over.
Proceeds support youth enrichment programs and other community initiatives benefiting Cobb County. T-shirt requests for those who register after December 1, 2026 may be limited.
