11th Annual Dashing through the Square 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run and walk taking place on December 19, 2026 in Marietta Square, Marietta, Georgia. It is organized by The PEARL Foundation, Inc. and will route participants past historic homes and the shops that line Marietta Square.
The event offers three participation options: timed 5K with electronic chip timing, untimed 5K, and a virtual 5K that can be completed from any location. The timed option is a Northside Hospital Peachtree Qualifying Race and uses chip timing to record results.
All 5K participants receive a runner's t-shirt, and a commemorative medal is given to all race finishers. Award medals will be presented to first and second place male and female finishers in the following age groups: 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over. The organizer notes that t-shirt availability and size options for registrations completed after December 1, 2026 may be limited.
