11th Annual Dashing through the Square 5K Run/Walk
The event is a holiday 5K walk and run held on December 19, 2026 in Marietta Square, Marietta, Georgia, USA, with the venue listed as 50 N Park Square. The race is organized by The PEARL Foundation, Inc. and is a Northside Hospital Peachtree qualifying race that uses electronic chip timing for participant results.
Registration options include timed and untimed in-person 5K entries and a virtual 5K. The virtual 5K can be completed from any location on race day and may be run, jogged, or walked on streets, parks, trails, or a treadmill; virtual registration includes shipping and handling. All 5K participants receive a runner t-shirt, and a commemorative medal is given to all race finishers. Award medals are presented to first and second place male and female finishers in these age groups: 17 and under, 18 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over.
Proceeds from the event support youth enrichment programs and other community initiatives benefiting Cobb County. Parking near Marietta Square is available but some lots require payment by credit card. T-shirt size and quantity requests made after December 1, 2026 may be limited.
