11th Annual Dashing through the Square 5K Run/Walk
The 11th Annual Dashing through the Square is a 5K run/walk taking place on December 19, 2026 in Marietta Square, Marietta, Georgia, USA. The event is presented by The PEARL Foundation, Inc. and is a Northside Hospital Peachtree qualifying race. Electronic chip timing is used for runners to record accurate times. A virtual 5K option is available that can be completed from any location; participants may run, jog, or walk on streets, parks, trails, or a treadmill. Virtual registration includes shipping and handling. All 5K participants receive a runner's t-shirt and all race finishers receive a commemorative medal. Award medals are presented to the first and second place male and female finishers in these age groups: 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over. Organizers note that t-shirt quantities and sizes may be limited for registrations after December 1, 2026.
