Santa's CHRISTMAS EXPLOSION Run takes place on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Rutledge Wilson Farm Park, 3825 W Farm Rd 146, Springfield, MO 65807. The event offers multiple distance options:

Event details and logistics
On-site packet pickup for out-of-town participants is scheduled at the event site on the race day, and there is an earlier packet pickup on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Fleet Feet Springfield. The 5k and 10k are led by Santa along with The Grinch, and the 1-mile is led by Cindy Lou Who. Course routes are provided for each distance.
Entry fees listed on the event page are $50 for the 10k, $40 for the 5k, $30 for the 1 mile, and $55 for each virtual event. The page notes 356 spots available for each listed event and that prices increase after October 28, 2025. Virtual 10k registration closes November 23, 2025; virtual 5k registration closes December 19, 2025. Participants receive event swag including custom pajama pants, a custom finisher medal, an LED Christmas bulb necklace, hot chocolate with toppings, on-course Christmas music and decor, and free event photos.
