Candy Cane Course - Springfield
The Candy Cane Course is a holiday-themed running event held at Rutledge Wilson Farm in Springfield, Missouri. This Christmas-themed race offers a variety of distances to accommodate different participants, including options for both competitive runners and those looking for an untimed experience.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 15K (9.3 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile untimed walk or run
- Kids Dash 50-meter untimed event for children ages 10 and under
The event features professional chip-timing for the 5K, 10K, and 15K distances, with live results available and awards presented. All registered participants in these timed distances, as well as the 1 Mile participants, receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal.
The Kids Dash is specifically designed for younger children. Registration for this event includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal. Children who wish to participate in the dash without receiving the race items may do so for free on the day of the event.
Finishers can expect food treats at the end of their race, and free photos are provided following the event. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual race option allows participants to complete their chosen distance and receive the event materials remotely.
