The Soyland Moor Fell Race is scheduled for Sunday 2 November 2025. The course distance is 13.5 miles with 1300 ft of ascent. The venue is the Hinchliffe Arms, Church Bank Lane, Cragg Vale, HX7 5TA. Entry fees listed are: affiliated £14, non-affiliated £16, entry on the day £18. Entries open 10 June 2025 and close 30 October 2025. Entry is available online and on the day. The organiser is CraggRunner and the event is run under UKA rules and licensed with the Trail Running Association and the Fell Running Association. Minimum age for the event is 18 years.
Route and checkpoints
The route starts at the Hinchliffe Arms and begins with a steep tarmac climb toward Sunderland Pasture. Runners then proceed to Stoodley Pike, cross moorland along the Pennine Way and White Holme Drain, cross the B6138 Cragg Vale Road, head toward Great Manshead Hill and return to the Hinchliffe Arms. The start and finish will be flagged and the route is marked on a map.
