SOX 10km
SOX 10km is a multi-terrain running event held on September 13, 2026, from a new event base at Ridgeway View Campsite near Wallingford (OX10 8BP). The event returns as the third SOX 10km and is part of the Ales & Trails series.

The route is approximately 75% off road and uses trails, woodlands, fields and local roads, including some usually private terrain. Total elevation gain is about 100 m. There are two water refill stations on course; the event is cupless so participants should bring their own cup. A 2 hour cut off is in place, allowing walking pace. Minimum age is 16.
Facilities and inclusions listed for finishers include a medal, a pint cup and a free drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), chip timing, downloadable race photos, prizes, toilets, free onsite car parking and a bag drop. A canicross category is available and there is a camping option for the Saturday night. Entries are priced at £30-32 and may close on September 9 if capacity is not reached earlier.
